Rotor Housings
These housings meet our Cores Guidelines in accordance with Mazda specifications. These products do not require the return of a core housing and are not subject to a core charge. These housings are subject to availability.
We have 4 options for Mazda rotor housings currently available to meet any engine requirements from street to professional racing. Here is a brief description of each rotor housing type, for more detailed information please see our Technical Page.
Re-Ground Chrome: These are used Mazda chrome housings that meet our core guidelines. These housings have been ground on our trochoid grinder to remove chatter and fine grooves. This process safely removes no more than 0.003" of the original Mazda micro-channel porous chrome and leaves a desirable surface finish for oil retention and break in (similar to new OEM rotor housings). This process will improve compression, performance and engine life, rejuvenating the rotor housing.
Cermet X,A & B: These rotor housings meet our core guidelines and have had the Mazda chrome plating removed to be coated with our Cermet coating. The cermet coatings are harder and more wear resistant than chrome plating and provide a far superior low-frictional surface. The cermets are composed of different types and grades of carbide embedded into various grades of metal matrix.

Apex Seals
NRS ceramic apex seals are ideal for nitrous and boost applications above 20 psi and beyond. Also available are the JHB Performance ceramic apex seals ideal for all applications and performance levels.
All seals are made from the finest materials with excellent fracture toughness and resistence to chipping. All seals are tested in accordance with ASTM 165 liquid penetrant inspection method.

Oil Metering System
We have designed a system that allows the use of the stock oil metering pump (OMP) to inject premium 2 stroke oil into the engine. Good quality 2 stroke oil is designed to burn clean and properly lubricate the internals of the combustion chamber in ways that far exceed conventional motor oils. This system allows the use of synthetic oils in the oil pan since this oil is no longer being injected into the engine. This kit includes an engine oil supply block off place, an oil fitting for the OMP, an oil line and an oil reservoir.
